Christopher Hodgson

Mr. Hodgson’s career focused on the mining industry, spanning policy advocation, politics and industry leadership. Mr. Hodgson is a member of the Board of Directors of Fairfax India Holdings Corporation, a company investing in India and Indian businesses, and Rocky Shore Gold Ltd., a junior natural resource exploration and development company. Previously, Mr. Hodgson had a 20-year tenure as President of the Ontario Mining Association and also served as a member of the Board of Directors of The Brick Ltd., a Canadian retailer of home furnishings. Prior, Mr. Hodgson served in the Ontario legislature in various roles, including as Minister of Natural Resources, Minister of Northern Development and Mines, Chairman of the Management Board of Cabinet, Commissioner of the Board of Internal Economy, and Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
Mr. Hodgson holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Trent University.
