Sahar Nasr

Ms. Nasr is a highly regarded academic with world-class experience and reputation. Ms. Nasr serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Allianz Life Assurance Company and is also an associate professor at the Department of Economics at the American University in Cairo. Ms. Nasr is also a lecturer at several other universities, including Cambridge, Oxford, and UC Berkley.
Previously, Ms. Nasr was the Minister of International Cooperation, and Minister of Investment and International Cooperation of Egypt. Prior, Ms. Nasr spent 20 years at the World Bank where she led major operations in developing countries, focusing on economic and financial and private sector development, financial inclusion, governance, and female economic empowerment.
Ms. Nasr has a degree in economics and mathematics from American University and a Ph.D. in economics from Cairo University.
